Brockton After Dark at the Library --  July 3--Aug. 21
For ages 13-16 at the Main Library. Thursday nights, 6:00-9:00 p.m. Video gaming at the library on Thursday nights, July 3-Aug. 21, 6:00-9:00 p.m., is a new event this summer for the city-sponsored Brockton After Dark events every weeknight, a Brockton's Promise Initiative. Play Guitar Hero, Rock Band, Runescape, and other games. Pick up a registration form for Brockton After Dark at any Brockton library or download a PDF version here. Trading Card Game Night -- Tuesday,  July 29
For ages 9-16 at the Main Library. 6:00-7:30 p.m. Bring your Yu-Gi-Oh, DuelMasters, Magic, Pokemon, and/or NeoPets decks to challenge other players. My Own Cafe -- Be a Library Volunteer Online 
Check out the website by local teens for local teens ages 13-17. Register as a My Own Cafe user. Join the conversation or sign up to moderate a message board. All you need is your library card.
My Own Cafe
is an information and entertainment portal developed by the Southeastern Massachusetts Library System, that offers teens access to library resources, local community information, free downloads of local music, discussion forums, and news about games, sports, entertainment, local and world news.

Find the Young Adult Collection on the top floor of the Main Library. The East and West Branch Libraries also have separate collections for young adults (teens) ages 12-18.
